I was trying to bowl a gentle leggy pitching outside leg stump, attempting to turn it across the pitch to just outside the off peg, when it suddenly darted down the pitch, sliding into a dark abyss.What a disgraceful pitch, no bounce, just rock hard, slippery and dead. No give for the bowlers, nor Batsman. Would like to speak to the groundskeeper, as it is really against the spirit of the great game, cricket.
